10.1. Miscellaneous Buttons & Tabs¶
Vogon is constantly evolving and with each release comes new functions and potential uses for the Software. The Vogon Tutorial and Additional Tutorials will be updated as Vogon evolves.
This last part of the tutorial covers buttons, functions and tabs in that were not covered in the Vogon Tutorial.
10.2. Vogon Main Window: Additonal Tabs¶
The Mapping Tab found in the Bottom Window can be used with templates from the SG Collection. (Tutorial on mapping function soon to come).
The Properties Tab found in the Bottom Window is used with the mapping function to edit the properties of the appellation boxes.
10.3. Vogon Main Window: Top Bar¶
The Top Bar has multiple buttons and functions that are not fully supported in the current release of Vogon.
The Create Default Layout button moves all relations and appellations into a horizontal line.
The Create Pyramid Layout button moves all relations and appelatios into a pyramid shape. This button is useful if you have created most of your relations via the Text Editor.
The Sumbit Quadruple button is used to export the data from Vogon in quadruple format.
The Remov ids button is used to remove local ids for appellations and relations prior to submitting to an external database.
